For 11 years prior to joining Burgher Tax Services, LLC Brian worked in various tax operations groups at Fidelity Investments as a Vice President. Prior to that, he worked for 3 years at Rothstein Kass and 5 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he attained the level of Senior Manager. Brian has a BS in accounting and a Master’s in Taxation from Brigham Young University.
For Fourteen years prior to launching BURGHER HAGGARD, Bedford served in the roles of CFO, Director, and Trustee for three family firms. Before that, he spent 11 years in the Tax Department of Ernst & Young’s Fort Worth office, attaining the level of Senior Manager. Bedford has a BBA in accounting from University of Texas at Austin.
Ken joined Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young) after receiving his BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech. He was a Partner in the firm and the Director of Tax for the Fort Worth office. After twelve years, Ken moved to a local oil & gas operator for a four year stint as CFO before founding Keenum & Topham, CPA’s. Thirty-five years later, Ken is continuing to serve tax clients through his affiliation with Burgher Haggard.
Wesley worked for the IRS, private industry, and as a tax manager of the global accounting firm now known as Deloitte, prior to launching a CPA firm in 1985. He and his firm are now part of Burgher Haggard where he continues to serve as a tax consultant. Wesley has a BBA in accounting from University of Texas at Arlington.
George has been engaged in tax practice for 42 years. He spent 11 years in the tax department of Arthur Young & Company and then joined Altaras & Thompson, PC where he has worked for 31 years. George has a BA in economics and accounting from Claremont Men’s College and a law degree from University of Texas at Austin.
